Pre-nuptial parties have been held recently to honor Miss Gay Ann Guenther, who will be married Saturday to Allan Jay Wynveen, in a four o'clock service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Sheboygan Falls.

A rehearsal dinner will be held this evening at Mel's Restaurant. Hosts at the dinner are parents of the future bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wynveen of Oostburg. Monday, the Mmes.

Arthur. Herbert and Clarence Guenther and Ruben Klemm, aunts of the bride-to-be, entertained at a bathroom shower at the home of the first-listed person, 82" Ashland Ave. Games were played by the 17 guests and awards were presented to the honoree. In addition to bathroom accessories, the bride-elect received a corsage of roses and daisies. Mrs.

Harvey Parsche, aunt of the and Mrs. Richard Oppeneer, a cousin, were co-hostesses to a group of 16 relatives and friends Wednesday, June 2. at their home in Sheboygan Falls. A candlelight buffet was served from a table decorated with painted tree branches, adorned with pink-flowers. Cards provided the diversion for guests who presented Miss Guenther with a carnation corsage, an electric grill and a laundry basket filled with canned goods.

An earlier candlelight buffet and linen shower, Monday, May 24, was attended by 25 former classmates of the future bride at the home of Miss Jo Ellen Van Ouwerkerk, Hillcrest Sheboygan Falls. The co-hostess was Miss Christine Schultz, who along with Miss Van Ouwerkerk, will be an attendant at the wedding Saturday. Mother and sister of the future bridegroom, Mrs. Wynveen and Miss Joyce Wynveen, entertained 25 guests at a surpri miscellaneous shower Friday. May 7, at the Wynveen home in Oostburg.

Decorations were pinlc and white crepe paper and wedding bells. Guests were served a buffet supper, and later enjoyed games. Awards utensils and towels were presented to the honoree. Miss Wynveen will be the maid of honor in the wedding service. Easter decorations were used at the Monday, April 19, coffee, which was given for Miss Guenther bv Mrs.

Roland 117 Mill Sheboygan Falls, who is a great-aunt of the future bride. Cookware received by the feted person from guests, including amon whom were a cousin from Gastonia, N. Mrs. William Matheson. A brother of the bride-to-be, A3c Richard Guenther, was host at a stag party Wednesday evening at the Labor HalL Cards provided diversion for guests who presented Mr.

Wynveen with a monetary gift. of Miss Jean Keppel and Mi chael John Baldikoski has been preceded by pre-nuptial parties for the couple. Marriage vows will be exchanged at St Peter Claver Catholic Church. Co teachers of the future bride at Nicolet High School in Milwaukee feted her at a crystal shower Tuesday, May 25, at the home of Milwaukeean, Mrs. Dwight Morgan.

Various games were played by guests. Future attendants, who are sorority sisters of the bride -elect, the Misses Ruth Webster and Jane asd Janet Galbraith of Milwaukee, surprised Miss Keppel Sunday, May 23, at her apartment. Guests at the miscellaneous shower were served a buffet supper. On Friday, May 21, aunts of the bride-to-be, Mrs. Frank Keppel and Mrs.

William Man-ske, entertained at a buffet supper at the former's home, 2614 Henry St. Kitchen items were gifts received by the honoree. Earliest of the parties held to honor Miss Keppel took place Sunday, April 25, when Miss Margaret Cinealis and Mrs. Victor Witkaukas, aunts of the bride elect, were co-hostesses at a monetary shower at VFW Hall. The buffet table was decorated with a white umbrella, under which gifts were placed, and the serving table was centered with white roses and white candles with green foli age.

A stag party for the future bridegroom, held earlier this week, had attendants at Saturday's wedding as hosts. They were Jack Baldikoski, Al. La-cher, John Knurr, Owen Bradley and William Long. The last-listed person will be best man. A cash gift was received by Mr.

Baldikoski. Two Troops Visit Port -Washington Brownie Troop 298 and Girl Scout Troop 351 of Sheridan School on Tuesday had a train trip to Port Washington. Smith Bros. Fish Shanty Restaurant and Market were visited and a short film on fishing was seen. An outdoor lunch was enjoyed at a park.

The trip was financed with money earned by Girl Scout cookie sales. Leaders accompanying Troop 298 were Mrs. Stanley Spalinger, Mrs. John Dirkse Jr. and Mrs.

Richard Hermes; those for Troop 351, Mrs. John Kuester, Mrs. Leland Voight. Mrs. Herbert Haack and Mrs.

Howards Grove High School is the alma mater of the bride, who received her diploma in 1962.

27th St. Auxiliary 1230, VFW To Convene Social meeting of Wolf-Olson Auxiliary 1230, Veterans of Foreign Wars, for June will be held next week Monday at 7:45 p.m. at the VFW Home, 1138 Union Ave. Mrs. Gordon Sommerfeldt, retiring president, will conduct the session at which election of delegates and alternates to the department convention at Ap-pleton will be the main buisness on the agenda.

Refreshments will be served after the session. Morgan-Hand row Pair Engaged Announcement is being made by Mr, and Mrs. Alvin Morgan, R. 1, Sheboygan, that their daughter, Barbara, is the fiancee of Arthur Handrow Jr. He is the son.

Co-workers of the bride-to-be feted here at a bridal luncheon that was held on Tuesday, June 8, at the Executive Inn. They are employed at Schulz Sav-0 Stores Inc. The hostesses gave the feted person a gift of 'lingerie and a corsage.

Another party in June was the miscellaneous shower on Thurs day, the third, at the home of Mrs. Roy Wilsing, 1730 S. 11th SL Miss -ane Ziegenhorn, cousin of the bride elect, was the other person to be feting Miss Badtke. First party in the series was the one at which 100 guests were present. They assembled at Turner Hall on Wednesday, May 19, per invitation of aunts of the one to be married Mrs.

Joseph Suscha Mrs. Anton Suscha, Mrs. Stanley Suscha and Mrs. Otto Frank. Kitchen, laundry, bathroom and miscel laneous gifts were presented to the feted person and she also received a corsage, designed of white miniature carnations, pink tea roses and an umbrel la.

Those present from other cities were Mrs. A. T. Pamp erin, Mrs. Stanley Ward, Mrs Russell Walske of Green Bay, Mrs.

Ben Slusarek and Mrs Donald Slusarek, Sumico resi dents. SUV Auxiliary Marks Flag Day At June Meeting Auxiliary 19, Sons of Union Veterans, held its June meeting Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Clara Kummer, 705 North Ave. The assisting hostess was Mrs. Esther Smith, president, who conducted the session.

In commemoration of Flag Day, June 14, members began their meeting by reading a tribute to the flag in unison. During the business session, Mrs. Antonia Harding, secre -tary, announced details of the auxiliary's department conven tion to be held June 25-27 Kenosha. Mrs. Smith will be attending as a delegate and at that time will present the sum of $65., from the local auxiliary to the state patriotic fund.

Al ternate for the state session is Mrs. Kummer. Yearly memorial service of the organization was held in connection with the meeting and honored the memory of two members, Mrs. Edna Thimmig and Mrs. Laura Wunsch.

Mrs. Theresa Aleff conducted the service as chaplain of the auxiliary and the tribute to the two late members was given by Mrs. Ethel Loesing in the form of a poem entitled God Last Ride." JUL Two clergymen the bride's brother and her father participated in the wedding service in which Miss Constance May Cone, 110 E. Pierron Port Washington, became the bride of William Keith Roehl of Watanga, S. Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mequon. The Rev.

Chester E. Cone performed the 4 o'clock nuptial service during which his father, the Rev. Chester E. Cone presented his daughter in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Bernard Zubrod. The bride's parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Cone came from the state of Washington for the nuptial event. Bridal silhouette sheath gown of silk organza was styled with a bouffant overskirt, extending into a chapel train; a shallow scoop neckline and a midriff highlighted with a jeweled lace insert.

Her silk illusion wedding veil was' attached to a double crown of seed pearls with bore-alis crystal trim. She carried a bridal bouquet of orchids and stephanotis. Identical, floor -length gowns of French blue summer peau, their fitted bodices accented with an overlay of lace, were worn by the bride's four attendants. The slim, bell fashion skirts were topped with double-paneled, bouffant detachable semi overskirts. Their open crowns, covered with pearls, were designed with ant silk illusion veils.

White chrysanthemums, accented with French blue, made up the similar bouquets they carried. Mrs. Chester E. Cone was her sister-in-law's matron of honor and Miss Donett De-mont, fiancee of another broth- Bridal Showers Held To Honor Janice Krenz The wedding Saturday of Miss Janice Krenz and Robert Trem-pe, which will take place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at six o'clock, has been preceded by a number of pre-nuptial events. Most recent of the showers occurred Wednesday, May 26, at the home of Mr.

and Mrs. Howard Pantel, 3214 S. 11th St. Hostesses were Mrs. Pantel and Miss Elaine Ebert and guests were teachers of Bethlehem Lutheran School, faculty wives and other friends of the hon-oree.

Miss Krenz received a corsage of white, blue tipped carnations, a set of wine glasses, silver candleholders and a silver plate. A bridal game was played by the guests, who presented their awards of canned and dried-food goods to the future bride. Top winners, Mrs. Caroline Meifert and Mrs. Fred Wolter, received hand made gifts.

Special decorations included ceramic candleholders, made by Miss Ebert and Mr. Pantel. The rectangular holder depicted four correlations with weddings something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue and Miss Ebert and Mrs. Pantel presented a holder to the honoree as a keepsake of the event. It is to be used on the wedding table Saturday.

Mothers of junior and senior kindergarten children at the Lutheran school surprised the bride-to-be with a shower Monday evening, April 26, at Bethlehem Fellowship Hall. Mrs. Jerome Freimuth and Mrs. Robert Guehna, were hostesses. The feted person was presented with an orchid corsage and after games were played, she received an electric mixer and other household articles.

Eight friends of the future bride, all members of Lutheran r.hnrns nf Shebovean. were en tertained Sunday, March 21, at the home of Mrs. Daniel Moenr-ke, 1640 S. 24th St. Miss Krenz was given a corsage of red and white carnations, a 35-cup electric coffee maker and other kitchen items.

Bridal quiz games provided the diversion. Markus-Wagncr Duo Affianced Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Markus, 1620 N. 12th are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rita Mary, to William Wagner.

Wendel's Catholic Church, Cleveland, Saturday morning, when Miss Don na Mae H. Scheibl, R. 1, Sheboygan, and a Plymouth resi dent, William Lee Jochmann, were the bridal pair. The low English Mass at 10:30 o'clock was officiated by the Rev. Leo Ott.

Mrs. Robert Wilke was organist and the soloist, Mrs. Antone Noordyke Plymouth, sang the following selections: "The Wedding Prayer," 'The Ave Maria," "The Our Father," "Mother at Thy Feet I'm Kneeling" and a wedding hymn. Pink and white chrysanthemums decorated the altar for the rite. Parents of the pair wed are Mr.

and Mrs. Willard Scheibl, R. 1, Cleveland, and Mr. and Mrs. Waldemar Jochmann, 429 South St, Plymouth.

Miss Sharon Scheibl, bride's sister, had the maid of; honor role. Trio of bridesmaids included Mrs. Lester Mastalir from Mosinee, Miss Laura Jochmann, both sisters of the bridegroom; Miss Marilyn Schmitz, R. 2, Elkhart Lake, a co-worker of the bride. They chose heart-beat blue gowns of crystal peau.

The floor-length bell skirts of un-pressed pleats included two-toned cummerbunds with double looped bows which encircled waistlines of their fitted -dices. Scoop necklines and elbow-length sleeves were other details of styling. Doll hats of fluted hairbraid with tiered veils were donned. White carnations, surrounded by pink tea roses and blue ribbons, were carried. Bridal gown was fashioned of Chantilly lace and the full, floor-length skirt of nylon was bordered with lace in front.

Motifs of the lace trimmed the nylon overskirt which was edged with the lace as was the detachable train. Bows were another detail. A foreward cluster of orange blossoms and seed pearls held the elbow-length veil in place. The white orchids were in the bridal bouquet and were surrounded by red roses. Mr.

Scheibl escorted his daughter and presented her in marriage. Before they entered a cousin of the bride, Wendy Sue Scheibl, R. 2, Elkhart Lake, flower girl, was seen in a dress that was identical to that of the bride. Red tea roses and white carnations comprised her bouquet. The white satin pillow with rings attached was earned by Dean Kalpin, Plymouth, a neighbor of the bridegroom.

Brother-in-law of the bride groom, Lester Mastalir of Mos Party Held For Michael Guenther The graduation of Michael Guenther from St. Norbert College, West De Pere, re cently was the occasion for the party at which his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Guenther, honored him. They were present at the commencement program at which he received a degree in business administration.

Dinner was served Sunday to 28 persons, including relatives and friends, who were entertained at the Guenther home, 2126 S. 16th St. Games were played by the group during the sociable evening. 1119 Michigan Ave. 0 Mrs.

As flower girl, Dee Jaye Ad- ler, wore a long, white frock of taffeta made with a fitted bod ice and cap sleeves. A French blue sash and an overlay of silk organza on the skirt detailed the dress.

Dee's crown type headpiece was designed of blue and white flowers, and she car ried chrysanthemums in the same color scheme. The bridegroom chose his brother, Roger Roehl as best man and Wayne Schulz and Reinhart Kom, his classmates and Darwin Cone, brother of the bride, as groomsmen. Another of the bride's broth ers, Fredric Cone ushered with Theodore Olsen, classmate of the bridegroom. For the service, the church was decorated in blue and white with the Christian symbol marriage. Miss Anita Lemke served as organist and Kurt Cone.soloist.

A 5 o'clock garden reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd in Mil waukee. Mr. Roehl and his bride are on a short wedding trip and af ter June 20.

Immanuel Church Announces Bible School Sessions The Rev. John H. Baris, pastor, announces a Daily Vacation Bible School to be conducted from Monday through Friday at Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, N. 17th and Cambridge Ave. Evening sessions will be held from 6:30 until 8:30 o'clock.
